From on-set gossip to how you can wear their fashion for less, here's everything you need to know about the 'Sex and the City' reboot.

The Sex and the City reboot is officially underway! Appropriately titled, And Just Like That…, the 10-episode series will be heading to HBO Max very soon (though a premiere date has not been released).

In fact, original cast members Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, and Cynthia Nixon have been spotted shooting the revival around New York City in recent weeks and HBO Max shared the first official photo of the reboot on July 9.

From everything you need to know about the reboot to how you can shop some of the stylish looks from the set, keep on reading!

First Look at the Series

As previously mentioned, HBO Max shared the first photo from the revival earlier this month, which featured Sarah Jessica as Carrie, Cynthia as Miranda, and Kristin as Charlotte walking the streets on NY.

Cynthia shared the photo to her Twitter page, writing, “And just like that, it was day one!!”

While the first look at the characters in their “costumes” (aka just beautiful clothes) nearly broke the internet, fans did know the cast was filming thanks to a photo Sarah Jessica shared back in June.

The star of the series shared the photo to her Instagram with her two co-stars and included the caption, “Together again. Read through our first episodes.@justlikethatmax Alongside all the fellas and our newest cast members. Like an ice cream sundae.”

No Samantha? No Problem

In case you already don’t know, Kim Cattrall — who played Samantha Jones in the original series and subsequent two films — will not be returning for the reboot. Kim has been very open about her unhappiness with the filming experience over the years, as well as her issues with her former co-stars, so her absence should come as no surprise.

In fact, HBO Max’s chief content officer, Casey Bloys, hinted at Samantha’s departure from the show in a recent interview with TVLine.

“They’re not trying to say that these characters are reliving their 30s. It is very much a story about women in their 50s, and they are dealing with things that people deal with in their 50s,” Casey explained.

“Just as in real life, people come into your life, people leave. Friendships fade, and new friendships start. So I think it is all very indicative of the real stages, the actual stages of life.”

Shop the Looks For Less

While people enjoy watching Sex and the City for the relationships and the friendships, let’s face it, people really love the show because of the fashion.

In fact, countless photos have come out of the cast shooting the reboot on the streets of New York, like this photo of SJP in a cream jumpsuit and floral jacket. But, while the jumpsuit she’s wearing is not cheap, you can shop a similar look at Lulu’s for under $50!

Kristin was also spotted filming a scene (complete with two adorable dogs) in a blue and white polka dot Balenciaga skirt worth nearly $1,000. To get nearly the same look for a lot less, grab this gold polka dot chiffon skirt from SheIn for less than $20.

And, last but not least, Cynthia was caught wearing a tie-dye Dries Van Noten Dorais dress on the set of the show, which retails for just over $900. For a similar look, try this dress from Target that’s less than $30!
