Spring is here, and many of us are planning our spring break adventures as well as our summer vacations. Maybe you will want to spend your vacation days exploring a new city and spend your nights partying. Or maybe you prefer to sit on a beach and relax with a good book.
If you choose the latter but have not yet found a book for your vacation, worry not, because I have compiled a list of books that will enthrall the minds and imaginations of the zodiac signs. Aries – The Sleeper And The Spindle
Written By Neil Gaiman and illustrated by Chris Riddell
This charming take on the Snow White/Sleeping Beauty fairy tale is the ideal read for feisty Aries. This book is a darkly humorous tale of an impassioned queen who sets out on one last adventure before getting married. However, her journey does not play out as she expected. This is the perfect book for wholesome and romantic Taurus. This story takes us through the lives of four women who are as devoted to their community as they are to each other. Though there are admittedly some plot points that do not age well, the book is ultimately about good food, good deeds, and good friends, the three most important values to a Taurus.
Gemini – Sula
Written By Toni Morrison
Written by Nobel and Pulitzer prize-winning author Toni Morrison, Sula is the story of duality and friendship. This book tells the tale of two girls, Nel and Sula, who grow up together but eventually grow apart due to social conventions. The Gemini readers will connect with the titular character’s erratic and unpredictable behavior.
Cancer – The Girl Who Chased The Moon

If all of the sweet, tender-hearted Cancers are looking for something sentimental to read, look no further than The Girl Who Chase The Moon. Scorpio – Tales From The Kingdoms

Let’s face it, Scorpio! You are already planning for Halloween. But while you wait for the spooky season, I suggest you read Tales From The Kingdoms. This series gives us dark reimaginings of classic fairy tales. Darker than the original stories themselves. I feel I must offer a trigger warning for copious amounts of blood, death, and selfish princes. But if you can look past that, this book will speak to your brooding and sensual nature.
Sagittarius – The Hunger Games

Of course, Sagittarius would get the series about an archer. The story about Katniss Everdeen, a girl who helps to lead a rebellion against a tyrannical government, is perfect for the ambitious fire sign. Fun fact! Did you know the actual katniss plant comes from the genus Sagittaria?
Capricorn – You Are Your Own Fairy tale
