Vacations should be cherished regardless of where you go or who you’re with, but let’s face it: there’s nothing better than going on a trip with your girlfriends. Now, that’s not to say trips with family members, a significant other, or even solo aren’t wonderful (they are), but there’s something superior about jetting off to a new destination with your closest gal pals.
Whether it’s a bachelorette weekend, a high school or college reunion, or a trip for absolutely no reason, girls’ trips reign supreme. But, while there’s a good chance you’ll have just as much fun with your friends camping as you would in a big city, it’s still challenging to pick a destination.
Not only are there so many options, but there are so many different types of trips to choose from. From relaxing getaways to sightseeing adventures, here are some places you and your friends should consider visiting this summer!
Nashville, Tennessee
While Nashville has become a major destination for bachelorette parties, you don’t have to be on one to enjoy this amazing city. Nashville has amazing restaurants, great nightlife, and countless activities for you all to enjoy. Spend a night on Broadway (the nightlife hub), rent a bus to drive you and your friends through the city, or enjoy an afternoon on the lake. If your group of friends loves country music, this should definitely be high on your list.
Palm Springs, California
Looking for a great place for a spa weekend? Look no further than Palm Springs, California. Not only will you be able to soak up the sun in one of the hottest places in the United States, but your group can lounge by the pool, get massages, and enjoy the desert atmosphere. Palm Springs also has beautiful hotels and great AirBnbs that’ll provide excellent backdrops for your Instagram photos.
Las Vegas, Nevada
This is an obvious suggestion, but there’s a reason why people flock to Las Vegas every year. While it’s certainly not a destination for people who want to sit back and relax, it is a great option if your group is looking to live it up. Las Vegas has great shows, some of the best restaurants in the world, and jaw-dropping hotels. Just make sure you stay on The Strip in order to get the full Las Vegas experience.
Austin, Texas
Is your group looking to visit a city full of culture, interesting restaurants, and incredible food? If so, Austin may be the place! Though it has also become a popular destination for bachelorette parties, Austin has so much to offer every single one of its visitors. This is a great destination if you’re looking for a city with a little bit of everything — outdoor activities, great live music, nightlife, and lots of energy.
Joshua Tree, California
Joshua Tree is a place for people who are looking to connect with nature, enjoy the great outdoors, and recalibrate. If you’re looking for a place to completely unwind and disconnect, Joshua Tree is the way to go.
New York, New York
There’s no place quite like New York City. Between the shopping, museums, nightlife, restaurants, and everything in between, the Big Apple is full of options. While visiting New York will probably not be a relaxing retreat, it will be a trip full of jam-packed fun. I promise you will not be bored if you visit New York City.
