Let’s talk about this week’s lunar transits and how they may affect our daily lives.

Just before we wake up, the moon in Aquarius forms a conjunction with Saturn also in Aquarius. This transit can make us feel depressed and introverted. It may be hard to communicate with our loved ones, which can make us feel unsatisfied or unfulfilled in our relationships. We may feel particularly isolated from an authoritative feminine figure. It may be difficult, but you may find it beneficial to reach out to a close confidant, a spiritual leader, or a therapist.

An hour later, the moon forms a conjunction with Venus in Aquarius. Under this conjunction, we feel particularly compassionate. The moon rules our emotions and Venus guides our values and relationships. When they are in this position, we desire and seek harmonious relationships, particularly with strong, maternal figures. We also pursue creative endeavors. Now is a wonderful time to express ourselves through art or poetry.

At noon, the moon has moved into pensive and peaceful Pisces. This placement may create feelings of empathy and introspection. It is time to take care of your inner self. Let your imagination run free. By allowing yourself to unapologetically daydream, you are tending to your inner child. You are doing more than just fantasizing, you are meditating. Fantasizing and daydreaming are important parts of creative and spiritual meditation. Allow the ambitions of the real world to slip away for a few hours and revel in your dreams. Remember your dreams are what allow your ambitions to prosper.

In the wee hours of the morning, the moon forms a square with Mars in Gemini. This square brings out our passion, but it can also bring out our competitive spirits. We feel particularly argumentative, especially with the opposite sex. We try to mask our emotions with hasty decisions. It is important that we acknowledge our own feelings at this time, rather than repressing them. Journaling or talking to a trusted confidant can help.

A couple of hours later, the moon forms a sextile with Mercury in Capricorn. Under this sextile, we are capable and discerning. With our newfound self-confidence and awareness, we are more open-minded than ever. Thanks to our communicative abilities, we are able to engage more effectively with those around us. Use your openness to heed the thoughts and needs of others.

Around lunchtime, the moon forms a sextile with Uranus in Taurus. This sextile grants us ambition and a can-do attitude. We are more than happy to help out with projects, both at work and at home. Thanks to our pragmatic sensibilities, we are able to persuade others easily to our way of thinking. We also may have a great desire to travel at this time. We crave a bit of freedom and are curious to see what the world has to offer.

Early this morning, the moon forms a conjunction with Neptune in Pisces. This placement has us feeling hypersensitive and secretive. We may feel a great deal of social anxiety. We may also feel the need to withdraw and isolate ourselves. You may want to step away from social interactions for a while. You are not required to be “on” 24/7. It is okay if you need to self-isolate to recharge your social batteries. That is a form of self-care. You, and only you, will know when you feel recharged.

It’s 11:11 make a wish! The moon forms a sextile with Pluto in Capricorn. Under this sextile our tender disposition reawakens. We feel every emotion deeply and distinctively. We desire to travel to new places where we have never been. Give into these desires. Be open to new experiences.

In the early afternoon, the moon moves into vivacious Aries. This moon reinvigorates our confidence and perseverance. We enthusiastically tackle projects both old and new, easy and difficult. We are equal parts spontaneous and sensible. Though on the surface we may demonstrate a devil-may-care attitude, we have a sharp mind and keen senses.

As we get ready for bed, the moon forms a conjunction with Jupiter in Aries. This conjunction could bring considerable success. You feel ambitious and motivated to work towards financial gains. Maybe there is a certain project or assignment that you have been working on that has garnered the attention of your employer. You are meeting new people while simultaneously being there for the ones who are already in your life. You may feel the desire to take on an artistic hobby or work on a personal project that you have been putting off.

Just after midnight, the sun in Aquarius forms a sextile with the moon. We often think of the sun and moon as opposite, when in reality they are complementary. Our communicative skills are superb under this sextile. This placement balances the masculine and feminine energies. Under this transit, we feel very content in our space. Loved ones are happy to help us at this time. Be accepting of their help while you can, because this sextile will not last very long.

Around breakfast time, the moon forms a strong sextile with Mars. Under this sextile, we feel like we can take on anything. We handle our issues in a pragmatic way and have the courage to face situations that once intimidated us. We are speaking our truth and we expect others to be truthful with us.

Later in the morning, the moon forms a square with Mercury. Under this square, we may not take full advantage of our talents or resources. We may feel insecure and cynical. It may be particularly difficult to hear constructive criticism. At this time it may help to reflect on our own accomplishments. This reflection may help us build trust in our own decisions.

Exactly 24 hours later, the moon forms a sextile with Saturn. Now is not the time to be impetuous. We must set our intentions using great deliberation. We are taking ownership of the things that are in our control. Our organizational talent is thriving under this sextile. Now is a great time to lead a project at work or tackle any projects at home.

In the middle of the afternoon, the moon forms a square with Pluto. Under this placement, we feel anxious and hypersensitive. At this time, it may be tempting to get lost in our own imaginations. A little wishful thinking never hurt anyone. But be careful not to indulge in escapist fantasies too much, or else you might neglect your real-world obligations.

Around dinner time, the moon moves out of wild-card Aries and is welcomed by practical and dependable Taurus. Under this taurine moon, our family, security, and creature comforts are most important to us. In terms of financial matters, we feel the need to, if you’ll forgive the pun, take the bull by the horns. This moon fuels the need to preserve and increase monetary gain. Just remember to take a moment to enjoy time with your family. Maybe plan an outing or a game night. Stability is important, but quality time is paramount.

A couple of hours later, the moon forms a sextile with Venus in Pisces. This sextile fills our lives with love and balance. We feel safe and secure with our romantic partners. We are gracious and considerate of others. Now is a wonderful time to consider starting a family or becoming active in your community.
