Around noon, the moon in Cancer forms a square with Jupiter in Aries. Under this square, conflict may arise in many facets of our lives. We may find ourselves at odds with others and pick fights with everyone around us.  We may be careless with our resources as well as our health. Be mindful of alcohol and caffeine, because our livers are especially vulnerable.

This morning, the moon forms a sextile with Uranus in Taurus. This sextile grants us ambition and a can-do attitude. We are more than happy to help out with projects, both at work and home. Thanks to our pragmatic sensibilities, we can easily persuade others to our way of thinking. We also may have a great desire to travel at this time. We crave a bit of freedom and are curious to see what the world has to offer.

This evening, the moon forms a trine with Neptune in Pisces. Under this trine, we are innovative and highly enthusiastic about life. We have an appreciation for the beauty around us as well as within us. We feel artistic and attractive. Now is the time for us to put our imaginations to good use and pursue some creative endeavors.

While we slept, the moon formed an opposition to Pluto in Capricorn. This placement may cause you to feel like all your effort is not being appreciated or reciprocated. You may also feel stuck in a rut. These are hard feelings to sit with, and you may be understandably disappointed or disheartened. To counteract this dejected feeling, you may turn to creature comforts or indulge in things that bring you pleasure. But be careful. Do not overindulge. Too much of anything is bad for you.

As we wake up, the moon forms a sextile with Mercury in Virgo. Under this sextile, we are capable and discerning. With our newfound self-confidence and awareness, we are more open-minded than ever. We can engage more effectively with those around us thanks to our communicative abilities. Use your openness to heed the thoughts and needs of others.

Around breakfast time, the moon moves into flamboyant Leo. Under this moon, we are overcome with self-confidence. We feel amorous. It is very easy to attract romantic partners at this time. We may have a casual fall “flirtationship.” At this time, we feel extremely inspired. We may want to express ourselves in as many creative and theatrical ways as possible. Don’t hold back! Find a stage and demand your spotlight.

Later, the moon forms a strong sextile with Mars in Gemini. Under this sextile, we feel like we can take on anything. We pragmatically handle our issues and have the courage to face situations that once intimidated us. We are speaking our truth, and we expect others to be truthful with us.

Around midnight, the moon forms a trine with Jupiter in Aries. Under this transit, we feel cheerful and generous. We are attracting those around us with our optimism and inspiring others with our altruistic pursuits. Now is a great time to revisit that project you have been working on. This project may help to inspire and comfort others.

This evening, the moon forms a conjunction with Venus, also in Leo. Under this conjunction, we feel particularly compassionate. The moon rules our emotions, and Venus guides our values and relationships. When they are in this position, we desire and seek harmonious relationships, particularly with strong, maternal figures. We also pursue creative endeavors. Now is a wonderful time to express ourselves through art or poetry.

A few hours later, the moon finds itself forming a square with Uranus. Our moods continue to be unpredictable under this square. This instability is causing a rift with our romantic partners. Our heightened sensuality and growing irritability make our relationships run hot and cold. When we feel moody, it is easy to slip into old habits that bring us comfort. This coping mechanism is perfectly alright, as long as it does not lead to self-destructive tendencies.

Early this morning, the moon forms an opposition with Saturn in Aquarius. Under this opposition, we may feel restricted and unsatisfied with life. It may be difficult for us to be honest with others about how we feel. We may find it hard to trust others as well. This distrust of others may cause us to feel isolated from our community, especially our loved ones. We may feel alienated from a maternal figure. It may be time to reach out to a close confidant, a spiritual leader, or mental health professional.

This evening, the moon moves into Virgo. Night may have fallen, but we are wide awake, and we feel sharper than we have felt in days. This week, there has been a lot of temptation to over-indulge in creature comforts and self-destructive behaviors. But tonight, you are overcome with the need to care for yourself mentally, emotionally, and physically.
