Today, the moon moves out of wild-card Aries and is welcomed by practical and dependable Taurus. Under this taurine moon, our family, security, and creature comforts are most important to us. In terms of financial matters, we feel the need to, if you’ll forgive the pun, take the bull by the horns. This moon fuels the need to preserve and increase monetary gain. Just remember to take a moment to enjoy time with your family. Maybe plan an outing or a game night. Stability is important, but quality time is paramount.

As we get ready for our day, the moon forms an opposition with Mercury in Scorpio. Under this opposition, we may not use our talents and resources responsibly. Because our thoughts and opinions are constantly changing at this time, it may seem like we are being deceitful. We are not necessarily lying, our own truth is just unclear.

About twenty minutes later, the moon becomes full. This full moon brings with it increased irritability. We desire peace more than anything under this moon, but we are having trouble finding it. Our anxiety is increasing and so is our likelihood of getting our feelings hurt. Our need for stability and security increases during this time.

Around two hours later, the moon forms a conjunction with Uranus. This constellation brings out the positive and negative traits of Taurus to an extreme. Under this conjunction, we may be stubborn and hard to reason with. We might lack an inner balance and be unwilling to compromise. However, love may be in the air.

Just before noon, the moon forms a square with Saturn in Aquarius. Under this placement, we find it difficult to hold onto the positivity we felt earlier in the day. We may feel unsatisfied with our current situation and find it difficult to express our true feelings.

Around lunchtime, the moon forms an opposition with Venus in Scorpio. During this transit, our suspicious and confrontational nature can hinder us from taking pleasure in anything. This can lead to dissatisfaction which then may lead to disputes. Open communication is the key to combating this discontent.

Later, the moon forms a sextile with Neptune in Pisces. Under this sextile, our empathy and creative inclinations flourish during this time. Our great understanding of others aids in our understanding of artistic mediums.

In the wee hours of the morning, the moon forms an emotional trine with Pluto in Capricorn. Under this placement, emotions that have long laid dormant are awakening. We have an intense desire to experience new things and to travel to new places. We also have the urge to participate in daring physical activities. Maybe it’s time to plan a cross-country trip, or explore a different country, or try out a new sport.

Around breakfast time, the moon forms a sextile with Jupiter in Pisces. This placement is giving us an optimistic outlook. We are reveling in our popularity and success. We feel beautiful from the inside out and appreciate all the beauty around us. Now is a great time to build upon the intentions we set and the plans we made earlier. It is also a good time to spread the love around, and direct your energy towards philanthropic causes. You can donate to your favorite charity or take part in some community outreach.

Almost two hours later, the moon moves into Gemini. Under this moon, our mental faculties are sharpened. We are curious and sympathetic. We are ready to have new experiences and meet new people. This is a wonderful time to network, and meet someone who may open doors for us. We are open to new possibilities and are willing to learn and achieve any and all opportunities.

Today, the moon formed a trine with Saturn. Under this trine, we see things clearly and tackle our goals with a great level of dedication and care. We feel organized and responsible. There is a desire to sort out our space as well as our thoughts. We are setting our intentions with care and consideration. There is no immediate rush to see our plans come to fruition. We are happy to take methodical and deliberate steps in achieving our goals.

Early this morning, the moon forms a square with Neptune. Under this placement, we are passive and anxious. We may feel extra sensitive and can be easily hurt by the words and actions of those around us. This hypersensitivity can lead us to direct our insecurities inward. We may be unkind and dishonest with ourselves. At times like this, self-care is very important.

Three hours later, the moon forms a conjunction with Mars in Gemini. Under this conjunction, we feel on edge and irritable. We must be mindful of these tendencies or else we can become argumentative or in the worst cases, violent. Exercise and meditation can aid in our stress relief since this transit can cause emotional and physical tension.

Around dinner time, the moon forms a square with Jupiter. Under this square, conflict may arise in many facets of our lives. We may find ourselves at odds with others and pick fights with everyone around us.  We may be careless with our resources as well as our health. Be mindful of alcohol and caffeine, because our livers are especially vulnerable.

Later, the moon moves into sentimental Cancer. Under this moon, we crave the simple and pleasant side of life. As the moon is at home in Cancer, we too have a desire for home. It has been a long week, and now it is time for some rest and relaxation. At this time, we value feeling emotionally secure and physically safe. Self-care is important for us now. We can cook our favorite meal, read our favorite book, tidy up our living space, or just take a well-deserved nap. It is essential that we use this time to recharge our batteries.
