Megan Thee Stallion’s Fashion Nova Collection Dropped This Week

Megan Thee Stallion is “Megan Thee Queen of Thee Week,” apparently.

She has dropped a new collab with Fashion Nova, and it is flying off the shelves.

Her new 106-piece collection already raked in $1.2 million in sales — and that was just in the first 24 hours. I think we can expect to see that number continue to climb.

MTS debuted her collection for Fashion Nova on Wednesday.

What to Expect From Megan Thee Stallion’s Fashion Line

Megan thee Stallion is a lot of things — classy, bougie, ratchet… even sassy, moody, nasty. Expect the same from her debut collection in collaboration with Fashion Nova. It’s definitely not fashion for those with reserved taste.

The collection takes a distinctly Western spin on that MTS signature style, double denim included. She is from Texas, after all. That’s why you’ll also find a plethora of Western saloon-inspired patchwork denim, a range of ruched tops, and “mesmerizing animal prints that parade along the entire collection,” according to a release.

The collab boasts that it “will make customers feel like they are on a wild Western moto speed chase with a full assortment of statement styles and fits.” I’m looking at aggressive accessorizing with cowboy hats, and an array of corseted, garter-detailed, cropped, laced and shredded styles with strategic cutouts. Accurate.

An entertainment writer at The Root dubbed it “Hee-Haw Haute Couture” and I almost spit my drink out when I read that.

You can check out the post she made here on her Instagram, but fair warning – she is, well, underdressed.

MTS Catering to Women of All Shapes

The real story though (if you can get past the curve-hugging patchwork jeans reminiscent of Britney and Justin at the 2001 American Music Awards), is that MTS wants to cater to all shapes.

“I just realized how big of a lack of representation there is for curvier girls, or taller girls, or girls with bigger feet,” Meg told Entertainment Tonight in a recent interview.

“Everybody is not just a cookie-cutter size, so I just want to make sure that starting with this collab we have better representation with just women in general,” she continued. “Even with short girls, the jeans are made for skinny short girls. It’s not just about the model body. It’s about the real body, so this collection definitely caters to women with curves. I say petite, too. But just the girls with the little representation. That’s what my collection really caters to.”

MTS noted that designing the collection was “a labor of love.”

The real star is clearly the premium denim, which she hopes will hug curves in all the right places. I mean, that’s really the “Hot Girl” secret, right? And whether or not they fit your taste, MTS hopes that they’ll fit a variety of bodies.

“Not only am I able to bring my signature look to all the hotties out there, but I was able to create sexy and beautiful clothing that fit bodies of all shapes, sizes, and heights,” said MTS.

It looks like “all the hotties” are picking up what she’s putting down, because the collection sold $1.2 million in just the first 24 hours after release.

Megan Thee Stallion’s collection has even outperformed Cardi B’s recent collab with Fashion Nova. However, TMZ reports that it’s because Fashion Nova anticipated high demand after Cardi’s sold out so fast. They had more product on hand for the MTS collab.
