Late in the afternoon, the moon in Sagittarius forms an opposition with Venus in Gemini. Under this opposition, we feel very passionate but also incredibly inhibited in our relationships. We might find ourselves dissatisfied in our personal lives. It is important that we practice caution because serious injuries could occur at this time.

A few hours later, the moon forms a sextile with Saturn in Aquarius. Now is not the time to be impetuous. We must set our intentions using great deliberation. We are taking ownership of the things that are in our control. Our organizational talent is thriving under this sextile. Now is a great time to lead a project at work or tackle any projects at home.

This evening, the moon forms a square with Neptune in Pisces. Under this placement, we are passive and anxious. We may feel hypersensitive and be easily hurt by the words and actions of those around us. This hypersensitivity can lead us to direct our insecurities inward. At times like this, self-care is very important.

As we begin to wake up, the moon leaves Sagittarius and enters Capricorn. Under this moon, we may be operating under a “more work, less play” mentality. We are so close to achieving our goals, we can taste it. We are approaching everything with a serious attitude. Our concentration and attention to detail will help us in professional matters. We have a strong sense of responsibility and duty at this time. Though perseverance is admirable, we have to remember to set aside a little time for leisure.

Around lunchtime, the moon forms a trine with Mars in Taurus. Under this trine, we are endowed with great physical and mental energy. You may have struggled with hardships recently, but you are pushing through and persevering. The wind is in our sails and nothing can get in our way.

In the early evening, the moon forms a square with Jupiter in Aries. Under this square, conflict may arise in many facets of our lives. We may find ourselves at odds with others and pick fights with everyone around us.  We may be careless with our resources as well as our health. Be mindful of alcohol and caffeine, because our livers are especially vulnerable.

Around breakfast time, the moon forms an opposition with Mercury in Cancer. Under this opposition, we may have an abundance of spiritual gifts, but we run the risk of not using them correctly. At this time, our minds are constantly changing so we may not know exactly what we want. It is important to think before we act or speak during this transit, because we run the risk of acting hastily.

Two hours later, the moon forms a high-spirited trine with Uranus in Taurus. Under this trine, we feel sharp and ambitious. We are forging our own path and painstakingly completing whatever tasks come our way. We are also finding new-fangled and innovative ways to solve our problems. Our amicable demeanor is helping to influence people in a positive way.

In the middle of the afternoon, the moon becomes full. It may be difficult to find peace under this full moon. We may feel irritable and our moods may have more phases than… well… the moon! Conflict may arise amongst our loved ones and we may find ourselves in several arguments at once. Now is a good time to step away from any negative energy we encounter and harness some of the positivity that we felt earlier.

In the evening, the moon forms a sextile with Neptune in Pisces. Under this trine, our minds are active and enthusiastic. Now we are sensitive to our own needs and desires. Earlier we used our imagination to accomplish a variety of tasks that needed to be done. Now we can use it to indulge our own artistic interests. Now is a wonderful time to work on our passion projects and fulfill ourselves spiritually and creatively.

Right after midnight, the moon forms a conjunction with Pluto who is also in Capricorn. Under this conjunction, it may feel like we are butting heads with everyone around us. This feeling of hostility can cause us to become depressed or temperamental. At times like this, it can be beneficial to just take a step back and indulge in guilty pleasures.

As we wake up, the moon moves into Aquarius. This moon is all about revolution and revelry. At this time, we feel particularly close to our loved ones and community. We are quick to offer an ear to listen or a shoulder to cry on. We are passionate about social events and social causes. Under lunar Aquarius, we are also driven to entertain as well as be entertained.

Around lunchtime, the moon forms a square with Mars. Under this square, we may feel excitable and make hasty decisions. We may also feel combative. If we feel threatened, especially by the opposite gender, we can find ourselves in a heated argument. After being so on edge, we may feel moody and need to withdraw within ourselves.

A few hours later, the moon forms a sextile with Jupiter. This placement is giving us an optimistic outlook. We revel in our popularity and success. We feel beautiful from the inside out and appreciate all the beauty around us. It is a good time to spread the love around, and direct your energy towards philanthropic causes. Donate to your favorite charity or take part in some community outreach.

Around breakfast time, the moon forms a square with Uranus. Our moods continue to be unpredictable under this square. This instability is causing a rift with our romantic partners. Our heightened sensuality and growing irritability make our relationships run hot and cold. When we feel moody, it is easy to slip into old habits that bring us comfort. This coping mechanism is perfectly alright, as long as it does not lead to self-destructive tendencies.

This evening, the moon forms a conjunction with Saturn. The irritable energy from earlier is intensifying under this conjunction. This transit can make us feel depressed and introverted. It may be hard to communicate with our loved ones, which may lead us to feel unsatisfied or unfulfilled in our relationships. We may feel particularly isolated from an authoritative feminine figure. It may be difficult, but you may find it beneficial to reach out to a close confidant, a spiritual leader, or a therapist.
