I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it doesn’t look like the coronavirus pandemic is going to slow down any time soon.

Clearly, the responsible thing to do is to keep wearing those face masks, right? But there’s no rule that says they have to be drab.

Might as Well Make it Fabulous

I think it’s time to embrace the required face masks as a fashion accessory, y’all. If you’re going to wear one, you might as well make it stylish.

Besides, as we buckle up for colder weather, I’m not mad about the extra accessory that will provide an extra barrier between my face and the freezing temps. Cold noses, dry throats, and chapped lips, be gone! I’m not a winter-loving person, by any stretch of the imagination.

Face masks aren’t really a fashion accessory, but they take up a lot of real estate on your face. It’s perfectly acceptable to reach for aesthetically pleasing ones. If you’re hoping to glam it up this winter, everyone from storied fashion houses to up-and-coming designers are offering inventive and trendy solutions.

Of course, there are plenty of tutorials out there on how to make your own masks at home. However, many of us just don’t have the time or skills required to make fab face masks. And have you been to the local craft store lately? The fabric choices are getting slim, thanks to disruptions in supply chains and more people crafting than ever.

Check out some of these fashionable face masks and stay safe in style. Plus, many of them have charitable components, making it easy to also give back to those in need.
