In the midmorning, the moon in Capricorn forms a trine with Uranus in Taurus. Under this trine, we feel sharp and ambitious. We are forging our own path and finding new-fangled and innovative ways to solve our problems. We are eager to help our friends and colleagues. Our amicable demeanor is helping to influence people in a positive way.

Later in the day, the moon forms a sextile with Neptune in Pisces. Under this trine, our minds are active and enthusiastic. We have been sensitive to the needs and emotions of those around us, but now we are sensitive to our own needs and desires. Earlier we used our imagination to accomplish a variety of tasks that needed to be done. Now we can use it to indulge our own artistic interests. Now is a wonderful time to work on our passion projects and fulfill ourselves spiritually and creatively.

An hour and a half later, the moon forms a trine with Mercury in Virgo. Under this trine, we are open-minded and willing to learn. We think for ourselves and do our own research rather than blindly believing what we are told. At this time, we can easily influence others with our charisma and leadership qualities. However, it is important that we wield this power with great discernment. We want to keep our influence a positive one.

Just before midnight, the moon forms a conjunction with Pluto in Capricorn. Under this conjunction, it may feel like we are butting heads with everyone around us. This feeling of hostility can cause us to become depressed or temperamental. At times like this, it can be beneficial to just take a step back and indulge in guilty pleasures. You are under no obligation to be “on” all the time.

As we wake to greet the day, the moon moves into visionary Aquarius. This moon is all about revolution and revelry. At this time, we feel particularly close to our loved ones and community. We are quick to offer an ear to listen or a shoulder to cry on. We are passionate about social events and social causes. Under lunar Aquarius, we are driven to entertain as well as be entertained. We are also driven to be compassionate. Consider attending a charity event or protest to raise awareness. And then host a gathering to raise everyone’s spirits.

Around breakfast time, the moon forms a sextile with Jupiter in Aries. This placement is giving us an optimistic outlook. We are reveling in our popularity and success. We feel beautiful from the inside out and appreciate all the beauty around us. Now is a great time to build upon the intentions we set and the plans we made earlier. It is also a good time to spread the love around, and direct your energy towards philanthropic causes. You can donate to your favorite charity or take part in some community outreach.

In the early evening, the moon forms a trine with Venus in Libra. Under this trine, love and partnership are on our minds. We find ourselves in sweet and charitable moods. We are helpful and eager to adapt to the needs of our partners. The opportune moment to discuss romantic commitment may arise soon. Be sure to keep the lines of communication open.

While we slept, the sun in Libra formed a trine with the moon. Under this trine, we experience levels of harmony that would make a Libra jealous. At this time, we feel physically, mentally, and emotionally healthy. We have a healthy work-life balance and we feel proud of our accomplishments. The relationships with our friends and family are strong and our relationships with our partners may flourish. Take some time to warm yourself in the glow of your personal and professional achievements.

Around lunchtime, the moon forms a square with Uranus. Under this square, we could be prone to mood swings. At this time, our sensitivity can be intense. We may come on too strong with our partners and inadvertently push them away. Moodiness and feelings of abandonment may cause us to act on self-destructive impulses. It can be hard to resist these impulses, but finding a mundane activity or a safe hobby may help you combat the urge.

An hour later, the moon forms a conjunction with Saturn in Aquarius. The irritable energy from earlier is intensifying under this conjunction. This transit can make us feel depressed and introverted. It may be hard to communicate with our loved ones, which may lead us to feel unsatisfied or unfulfilled in our relationships. We may feel particularly isolated from an authoritative feminine figure. It may be difficult, but you may find it beneficial to reach out to a close confidant, a spiritual leader, or a therapist.

Later, the moon forms a trine with Mars in Gemini. Under this trine, we are endowed with great physical and mental energy. You may have struggled with hardships recently, but you are pushing through and persevering. The wind is in your sails and nothing can get in your way.

As the sun rises, the moon moves into Pisces. This placement may create feelings of empathy and introspection. This morning we basked in the glow of our material and social achievements. Now it is time to take care of your inner self. Let your imagination run free. Some may say that you are merely daydreaming, but you are also self-reflecting. By allowing yourself to unapologetically daydream, you are tending to your inner child. You are doing more than just fantasizing, you are meditating. Fantasizing and daydreaming are important parts of creative and spiritual meditation. Allow the ambitions of the real world to slip away for a few hours and revel in your dreams. Remember your dreams are what allow your ambitions to prosper.

In the middle of the day, the moon forms a sextile with Uranus. This sextile grants us ambition and a can-do attitude. We are more than happy to help out with projects, both at work and at home. Thanks to our pragmatic sensibilities, we are able to persuade others easily to our way of thinking. We also may have a great desire to travel at this time. We crave a bit of freedom and are curious to see what the world has to offer. It may be time to plan a small getaway or take a day trip.

In the evening, the moon forms a square with Mars. These are both highly emotional signs, and this placement may have us feeling like our emotions are all over the place. We may feel excitable and make hasty decisions. We may also feel combative. After being so on edge, we may feel moody and need to withdraw within ourselves. There is no shame in standing up for what you are passionate about. But if you feel yourself growing volatile and argumentative, take a moment to reflect on how you can communicate your point more effectively. And if the person who you are talking to refuses to listen or understand, then walk away. You do not need to waste your energy on them.
